I decided to start carrying a full size 1911 today but found that when I put the thinner grips on the CZ 1911, it changed up the whole feel of the gun. All of my other carry 1911s have a flat MSH but the CZ has an arched one. That wasn't an issue before, but with the thin VZs, the whole gun suddenly feels awkward. So, I have a flat MSH on the way which should give me a very similar feel as my others. Until that arrives, I'm carrying my R1S which is also my most shot (not high round count by any means) 1911. At the end of day 1, all is well. :): Eventually, I'll need to swap the trigger out as well as that's got a short trigger and I like the medium triggers on the full size guns.

I am looking inside my 97 trying to figure out the easiest way to deep clean in "Innards" as they are getting a bit gucked up.

    Damn I can not spell/type this A.M.
