The lgs has Rami, p-01, pcr, and compact. I would like a decocker because I don't plan in carrying cocked and locked. The Rami they had was a MS model. I can wait to save up if needed. What is the consensus on safety vs decocker?

If you feel uncomfortable manually lowering the hammer on a loaded chamber then you should get a decocker.

I prefer to lower the hammer myself and carry at half cock. The decocker on the metal frame guns is awkward for me. I much prefer the decocker on the poly guns.

When I took it out Sunday I grabbed a holster so I didn't have to set it down and throw a flag in it while loading because I've only got one mag right now. It filed the front sight down a little . The plastic doesn't like leather.
