The Wizard is usually helpful in helping my quell my urges for more purchases. But, today for some reason, he seems to be enticing me. This isn't helpful. But, it is fun to discuss the possibilities. ;)

    Yeah, no ****.

I used to have 2 full on long gun safes and 2 Stack on lockers.
When I sold off the lions share of my pieces I still had the safes. 1 was completely empty or so I thought.
2 years after the sell off a friend made me a deal for 1 of the safes.
He showed up with help to move it. When we tipped it up on the cart there was something bumping around inside of it.

Turned out there was still an SKS in there........:dunno:

DOGG and I are still at the range. :ar15: Have moved onto rifles after a morning of handguns and a lunch break. This is going to be an expensive vacation day..... Not only with ammo, but I'll be getting a new gun very soon.

Glad to hear that you are taking advantage of the break in the rain to do something useful.

That GSG 1911 22 is friggin sweet! We got the mag disconnect out of there in a couple mins before we started this morning. Trigger smoothed out some and the gun broke in nicely. Smooth as butter now. Little sweetheart. I see a very real application for me aside from her eating habits....

I really did not care for the one I had. Be gentle if you have to adjust any of the plastic pieces.

S&W 41 fits my hand much mo bedda.

My GSG is the one and only piece I own that is out of the box stock.
It has several thousand rounds through it with only a few real cleanings.
Beside ammo issues it has run flawlessly.
I use it to train youngsters and females in handgun.
It has a rather large and inexpensive Red Dot on it so as to make it easier for 1st time hand gunners to get on steel/paper quickly.
Having a female N00bie on steel at 10yds on the 1st magazine is a lot of fun.
The smiles are huge and most want to keep shooting.

That little gun has more than returned my investment in smiles alone.

I will be adding a GSG very soon.

Just got home. Met DOGG for breakfast, shot handguns all morning, had lunch then shot rifles all afternoon. Much stuff to clean now, but I hear a couch calling my name right now.

Going NE this Saturday to attend a classified function (:shady:) and throw some lead around.
Careful where you're throwing, wouldn't want to hit me before you get to see me again. Depending how close you get to the Fort, the gun show is this weekend at the Coliseum, it's like any typical show now, but fun to walk around and shoot the spit with friends.
