You could always try. I'd think that you would have to have some form of government issued photo id to go along with it though. To be truthful though, I could see some folks having an issue with that, especially if the gun is a real deal. They know that it will sell most likely and they might think 'Why risk this being a BATFE sting'. But, like I said, you can always give it a shot. If it's a local vendor, you might get them to hold it for you until your license comes in.

I just checked with my in-house BMV expert and she says that it could be used as proof, but it's up to the individual or business as to whether or not they accept it.

It has a photo and proves residency, so I know it is legal. Like you said though, may make people nervous.

I met AllenM at MCF&G a few days back to test run the 2011 after some minor tuning. I was shacky and on steel 50%. Just not on my game and I feel worse today.

I will be there regardless.
