But, I am very happy and thankful for what I have.

Agreed and I'm trying hard to have the same attitude... :):

I think of guns like I think about cars. There will always be something out there better than I have, no matter what I have. Instead of focusing on what I'm missing in my collection, I try to appreciate what I have instead. I've chased perfection long enough to know that it's a fool's errand. Every time I thought I'd achieved it, something else popped up to start me running again. While I enjoy the chase, sooner or later its good to sit down and savor the results.

Sitting down after I have the 2011 in my sweaty little hairy knuckled hands.....:):

As I hone my skills I have turned out some seriously sweet triggers and the fit up on my 1911's can not get much better.
The worst trigger in the safe right now is my steel (race) gun. I have plans to pull it down very soon and rectify this.

If this gets any better I will just Pee myself.....:)

I did that with AR's, now I have a safe full of higher end AR's. I just can't seem to part with any of them that I have. I've sold off all the one's I want to sell.
I did the same thing with 1911's, but have managed to sell most of them off except for two. So that is a very well written statement that I can fully relate too.

Howdy fellers. Czickos the lot of you.

Finally got my SPR put together. Buying the Phantom held me back a bit but it was worth it. Still haven't shot anything at all this year. Getting a bit anxious.
