Had a fun day at the range yesterday. A buddy of mine who I've been trying to get to the range for the last couple of years finally decided he was ready. By ready I mean not only to shoot, but to become a gun owner. Through text messaging back and forth, I'd sent him links to various resources and told him to meet me at the range up in Carmel. When I got there he was already in the process of buying a Shield in 9mm. His main concern is concealing the gun. We took his Shield and mine and shot them and he really loved them both. He was super excited. It wasn't his first time shooting, but it was his first time in 20 years or so. First time owning a gun. He was really excited. I gave him a bunch of info and he messaged me this morning saying he'd bought a ton of stuff for the range. Always fun helping out those entering the gun world... :yesway:
