    Maybe what makes the folks that tend to hang on in this thread different is that we are not afraid to make our guns our own. Between pink grips, cajunization, a bit of sandpaper or a bit of dremel work, we all tend to see our guns as starting points and not finished products. I do admit, when I was taking a dremel to the 5 day old Glock to relieve the trigger guard a bit, I was wondering if I was nuts in doing that.

    In some ways, this is more of a gunsmithing thread than a shooting thread. No, I take that back. As much as we love to tune them, shooting them is always better.

    Range time.
    I have been doing function tests at the last 5 range trips on guns that have received some love/attention. When I come home successful there is a smile. Even if a problem is found I might still smile while mulling over what the real issue with the gun is and how to fix it.
    Even the MilSpec project that caused me a near mental break down (:)) advanced my knowledge and skill sets.

    Home home at the range:shoot:. Where the Mouse :draw:and BA :cool: all play. Where seldom is heard a discouraging word except CM saying "I hate that guy" and the cheeseburgers after we play!!:hehe::hehe::hehe::hehe: Range day!!
