    I think it's funny, most people spend their entire lives trying to keep that brand new pistol factory fresh. In here, we just take them out of the box and start right in with the sandpaper and belt sanders. :lmfao::lmfao:

    Maybe what makes the folks that tend to hang on in this thread different is that we are not afraid to make our guns our own. Between pink grips, cajunization, a bit of sandpaper or a bit of dremel work, we all tend to see our guns as starting points and not finished products. I do admit, when I was taking a dremel to the 5 day old Glock to relieve the trigger guard a bit, I was wondering if I was nuts in doing that.

    In some ways, this is more of a gunsmithing thread than a shooting thread. No, I take that back. As much as we love to tune them, shooting them is always better.
