I wish I still had the pick of when a spider bit my face in my sleep. My face was swollen from my hair line to my upper lip and couldn't open my eyes for a while. Took a week for the swelling to go down and for a month I squeezed a greenish brown muck that smelled like decomposing flesh from the bite site. 4 doc visits, $1200+ out of pocket, and 2 months to be back to normal. The fear of them isn't unwarranted by any means IMnsHO. I have the exterminator come every year. Kill every spider you see or can't see is my moto.

Get that smoke detector replaced too.

Went to the indoor range yesterday near campus after work. Spent some time with the Beretta 92GTS, my G****19X MOS with Radian comp and another 226. This was one of two I bought recently and I upgraded the frame with a Revanant Arms 226 frame with rail for something different. I also upgraded it to the new style mainspring system but you have to really modify the old school grips to use them. Those frames are pretty impressive for the price, no issues with install and the gun worked great, added some night sights as well.

It's about as perfect a day as it can be, and I'm stuck with bed rest for now.

Half the house pressure washed, mower serviced w/ new blades, garage door opener fixed, hummys and reg birds and dog and mom fed. Need to clear a path to get 4wheeler out of the garage but taking a break. I think I sweat a couple gallons today. Warm but nice day.
