That is definitely a premium price but how much time would you be cutting off? You could order the parts and it could be Wizardized inside of two weeks.

That is an issue I see as well. Spending money would become a drug.

I don't blame you. Although, I picked up a 75B in .40 and it is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I shot it tonight. It's a tack driving thumper.

No, I never made it ashore there. But I have spent a LOT of time in the neighborhood.

So did I. Was there during the Achille Lauro hijacking. I worked C-5's out of Dover so spent a lot of time in that part of the world. Ate at a few good Spanish Steak Houses outside of Rota.

A lot of the "Stuff" you got off the COD's came off of our Aircraft. Some days we had over 15 C141's come in and out. I do miss the the members of the military I worked with, All Branches.

All this talk of C5s and 141s is making me nostalgic. I worked sheetmetal on both at Travis back in the '80s. Lot's of honeycomb and corrosion under the heads worked. Glamorous stuff, but fun times.
