    Morning folks! :coffee:

Allen will set your mind on a path......he has me a few times.
I have a 1911 trigger class with him on Saturday. Sounds like it could end up costing way more than the class does. I wish I had the money to send him all of the work I'd need him to do. There's a healthy back log of projects.

Now, if I could only figure out how to get some decent finger grooves on the RAMI.
I wonder if a set of 1911 Officer finger grips from Pierce could be modified to fit the Rami stocks. They would be close in size and run about $9, so might be worth a try.

IMO it appears that the Pearce could be cut, trimmed and reshaped to allow one of the bumps to fit the grip on the rami. It would take quite a bit of work to make it happen, but I think it's possible.

Has anyone tried to bond the Pierce grips to the frame with something that would be easy to remove, but that would also keep them from moving? When I put a set on my CCO, I had to trim the ridge along the front of the grip to remove a small gap between the front strap and the finger grips. I've been toying with applying some type of rubber cement behind them to make sure they stay put.

I am not really sure what would stick to the finish of the gun reliably.....sounds like an experiment is in the works......Muwahahaha

Maybe a bit of Permatex? Either that or some trim adhesive. I'd want something that would not slide around, yet that would be easy to peel off if I change grips.

Well you're not supposed to eat it...... Or get it in your hair....

Like this woman, who apparently thought that "Great Stuff" meant it was awesome hair mousse?

Snopes is uncertain whether the mousse story is legit or not. It does look like she's also got leaves or something stuck in it, which might mean there is more to it. (But I'll be damned if I know what it could be....)

True or not, she does not look to be amused by the situation.
