I strongly recommend going with the .357, even if she only plans on shooting .38 out of it. It's built better.

I strongly recommend going with the .357, even if she only plans on shooting .38 out of it. It's built better.

She's kinda new to handguns. She has a bad shoulder and racking a semi-auto is not an option. She's going to shoot the LCR tomorrow. If she likes it she's buying it. I'll pass on your suggestion Snap. Thanks!

My LCR .357 was my first gun, and I would never part with it. It's a great little revolver, and for it's size, it has very little recoil. It shoots way better than a J-frame.

Needed something smaller and lighter than the RAMI for deep conceal.

That's a solid choice. You don't hear much bad stuff about the S&W Shield series. My brother uses his as his EDC and loves the thing.

There is, because the .357 has more metal and less polymer, but it's not a lot of weight difference.
