Oof, she is fugly. Why's the bushing look so off?

Cause it is a Mil-Spec base model. I love to find these Springers with a good slide to frame fit. Great base for a hot rod.

Look back in the thread to see the parts list that will be here in a day or so. When I am done with this it will not be the same gun.

CZ built gun or did somebody machine a barrel for it?
Can't see the markings on the driver side of the gun... looks like it was purposely blurred out so we couldn't see it.

The slide and barrel don't look like a 97 to me. That looks more like a 97B lower with an EAA Witness 10mm upper mated to it. The 97 upper has a different barrel locking profile and is much more clean than the EAA upper.

You can clean up the trigger considerably on an EAA with some polishing, but there are few of the fun parts like you can get from CGW. One other reason to go with the CZ though is resale. A CZ will hold its value longer than a clone. There are some really good clones out there, but you take a bath if you need to sell one.

Must be. Not much happening here today. Maybe everyone's out raking leaves or buying candy. I did put my cut down set of Hogue's back on my Compact CZ 75 today. I've been practicing point shooting and the more comtact I have with the gun, the more consistent I am. Anyone else practice point shooting?
