We regularly offer federal law enforcement assistance to foreign governments.

REALLY struggling to see what impeachable offense may've been committed in an executive conversation with another head of state. This seems solidly in the discretionary environment of foreign policy.

I didn't really see some smoking gun in that transcript.

Biden brags about extorting a foreign leader, Trump asks the president to get to the bottom of it, and Trump is the bad guy?

By the way, it occurs to me that if the AG/IG was legally obligated to deliver the credible whistleblower complaint to congress, then it is the AG who should be subject to impeachment.

Otherwise, POTUS would be answerable to impeachment for any crime committed by an appointee.

What investigation was the Ukraine needing assistance with? And one other thing, is it a crime for the president to solicit aid for his campaign from a foreign government?

Doesn't matter - it was just an offer. :)

    Cash - yeah.

Information related to wrongdoing by a political opponent? Probably not.

Take the "Biden" name out of it. If it was an investigation of corruption by Bill Gates and Trump offered federal LE assistance, would there be a problem? I don't think so.

Best part is where this issue is first brought up- Trump says that Biden has been going around bragging that he stopped the prosecution, "that's horrible"...

    Mr. Trump- YOMANK.

The whistleblower is said to have multiple instances that make up his complaint. And think the memo does exactly what it was meant to do, show the president attempting to gain dirt, from a foreign nation, at the detriment to the campaign of a political rival.

If there is no dirt to find, how does the Prez benefit?

If there is dirt, doesn't our .gov have legit law enforcement interest in it? And if that dirt hurts a rival, well, he shouldn't have gotten dirty.

Are presidential hopefuls imparted some kind of immunity when they declare their candidacy?

Or is it only Democratic presidential candidates who are guaranteed immunity from investigation by the sitting administration.;)

    Huh...

Go to 1:18 and listen to Joe. Don't worry that it's RT- it's Joe's own words and the RT reporting what several other media outlets reported...but seem to not be reporting anymore.

Should he have just let his Secretary of State do that for him and just connived in the background?

We should not conclude 'game over' though and rest on our laurels. It will take a great deal of hard work to ensure Trump is re-elected

    See above

Here's the fun quote. Is it not law that the complain "shall" be forwarded to congress? That IS a fact.

I think once again this administration has run afoul of the law because they complaint wasn't forwarded to congress. And if the government thought Biden and Co had done something corrupt, why is the president's personal lawyer going to the Ukraine, and not government agents?

That essentially say that if you try and rob someone, and they don't have money, it's not a crime. Obviously that isn't quite right.
