Is that what happened? You've read the court transcripts?

You can play the "Reductio ad absurdum" game if you want, but here you go.

This is not a cert, this requires 5 to put it on the docket for a hearing. We have state vs. state and those go directly to SCOTUS and a 5 justice majority puts it on the docket.
Did you read the above post? It is being heard...
I have heard but not confirmed that the vote was 6-3.
Aren't these commie tactics?
So, rule of law only applies when things go your way. Why am I not surprised
Not sure how a general strike would be effective when prosecuted by people who don't really do much. Will BLM refuse to riot until Trump steps down? Will I have to make my own coffee at home (like I already do) because my barista is throwing a hissy? The censors at twitter and facebook will refuse to suppress conservative thought and ideas?
Bring it
After an entire 4 years of the Left fighting "not my President", I don't think "you've had 5 weeks" really means anything.
Puhleeeze. Your tiny violin is squeeking and it hurts my ears.
Texas likely doesn't have standing to raise these claims. Texas has no say in how another state chooses its electors. Texas waited too long to sue. If it had problems with the electors selection process, it should have filed suit earlier. To wait until after the results were in (and certified in all cases except for the state of WI), seeks to subrogate the will of the voters to some other party(ies).
Additionally, many other states modified their voting procedures as a result of the pandemic. Many of them are red states. In fact, most of them are red states. Texas is basically asking the court to invalidate the votes of the lion's share of the citizenry.
I don't expect more than a one sentence denial from SCOTUS.
Sedition? I think it's fair to call out some childish behavior in the president, but calling it sedition is a bit delusional. Maybe check the emotions a bit.I'm not one bit nervous. I'm frustrated by the hijinks and likely illegal activity of Trump interfering with elections and possible sedition. But no, I'm not nervous.
If SCOTUS rules in a manner that changes the election to Trump, Venezuela will look like a girl scout cookie sale in comparison to what happens here. And there needn't be violence. A general strike would be phase 1, methinks.
...
I know quite a few Dems who do work and not as a barista. Nurses, a Dr or two, quite a few factory workers, etc. I also know some Repubs who don't do much.
I mean. I don’t think this is going anywhere, nit because I don’t think Democrats cheated like mother****ers, but that there really isn’t much that can be done about it. And I’d take you more seriously if you weren’t saying this from partisan “neener neener” vitriol. There is some evidence of shenanigans. Just not to a scale that could justify overturning an election. But thise things there are evidence for should be corrected so that everyone can trust our election process. One of those things would be Media having to regard their coverage as political donations. That goes for the leftwing or rightwing media.
Actually they didn’t. The Bolsheviks were more focused on the massive wealth gap between the classes rather than holding a perception of being the victim of tyranny at the hands of the Russian nobility.
That's a "safe" response. "some evidence of shenanigans". No one is likely to call you on such a broad, but minor accusation.
Changing the results? I agree.
However, these allegations need to be investigated and, yes, litigated if a whole lot of people are ever going to think about "believing in" the system again. No one should be afraid of giving all of this a close look.
Now, unfortunately, I believe that there are probably some instances that the Biden people don't want looked at and, yes, some where the Trump people never had the evidence they claimed. Which side should be more embarrassed with whatever is found out? I have no idea.
Both sides have done a near masterful job of convincing their respective supporters that they are correct and if something else happens, it MUST be the result of corruption.
...and the country is not better off for it.
So how am I supposed to summarize it? Maybe stop looking for untoward motives where there are none? If you think there was zero fraud, when there is evidence that there was, your head is in the sand. If you think Trump actually won in a landslide, but for highly organized, far reaching fraud, your head is elsewhere.
There's a sane platform on which to stand. Step off either way, and you've fallen into the realm of delusion.
Maybe we don't need a summary?
Just like in 2016, I'm relying on the certification of the officials in each state. There isn't more to do than that. It has been our process for as long as I have been alive (but I've only lived through about 25% of the life of our republic).
I really don't care about Donald Trump at this point. More likely than not, he will be gone on Jan 20. I'm sure he'll spend the rest of his life in litigation in one form or another. But we have more pressing problems in the nation at this point than worrying about Don and Ivanka and Jared et al. The completion of the steps toward inauguration need to move forward. The noise from OANN/Newsmax/Twitter etc will go on forever. I don't bother with them.

The Bolsheviks were ****ing far left lunatics, radicalized by Stalin. Take more care not to imply them as benevolent activists. They were the "hards".
Some people are getting a bit antsy. They just want to get them some Biden. Don't worry. You'll get there.
Translation: I don't care if there is fraud or even that it might have swung the election because the result is my guy won.
