What Obama charity paid for a painting, NFL helmet, and legal bills? :dunno:

The onus isn't on me to prove Obama hocked gear. It's on you. Trump obviously does.

Official Barrack Obama website and official Barrack Obama store hawking official Barrack Obama gear... yeah, no proof there. Lol!

(btw, Trump's site is co-branded with the RNC too... that doesn't make it not his site)

If you're bored, why don't you start up ATM's 9-11 thread again? A whole week of turkey and conspiracies ought to be just the thing.

Insults? Who was insulting? I wondered if there was some reason that might explain why some of you (and you are part of that "you") cannot ask single-part questions, and/or formulate declarative statements. There must be a reason why this is so. Is it a childhood malady or injury? Being too close to soybean crops? What might cause this?
Wouldn’t it just be easier to admit your semantic dodge didn’t work? Then you wouldn’t need to spend the time trying come up with what you think are clever barbs. You’ve been trying to claw your way out of this moral pit you dug for yourself when you decided to take up the position that democrats are somehow more moral than republicans. As if their sexual assaulters are any less immoral people. Well. I’ll see your Roy Moore and raise you a Weiner. Evil does not choose to give a pass to either.

You don't think that asking someone if they were dropped as a child is insulting?
    Interesting.
I've wondered if your acute case of rectal cranial inversion is caused by chronic exposure to the academicus toxis virus during your formative years, or if it is genetic.
Or it could be that you just Can't Understand Normal Thinking.

So, you equate fanny patting and "groping" with statutory rape and ephebophelia. I see the Kellyanne Conway memes have settled in well with you.

Please, show us who has equated groping with rape. There are over 900 posts in this thread alone. Surely you can find it.

If it is there. Of course, this could just be another dodge.

Perhaps you missed the nuances in Jamil's post. They were not lost on me.

I know you read it, but you missed it.

A pivot from Franken to Weiner. Is that a Frankenfurter? In any event, it is the introduction of an entirely different set of conditions into the ongoing discussions. Much like if I would have brought Mark Foley or Larry Craig into the conversation.

In the case of Weiner, which I'm really not all that familiar with, he was convicted of "sexting". I'm sorry, but I don't consider phone sex as disabling to the female psyche as physical rape.

I didn't miss anything, but I also didn't add anything. Only one of those two men has a sex crime conviction.

You must really have your blinders on if you missed the Weiner debacle.

It seemed straightforward. No debate necessary. Weiner repeatedly broke the law. He's now in prison, I think.

However, it wasn't part of this conversation. If you want to go there (which I don't think you do), take a look at this list:

    https://www.sportsbookreview.com/fo...239-list-convicted-republican-pedophiles.html

I haven't vetted any names on the list and take no ownership of it. I googled, and that list came up first. If it is correct, it is sickening.

1: Why wouldn't I want to go there? I'm against perverts of all stripes.

2: Why on earth would you throw up a source and then immediately say you don't know if it is accurate? I'm only interested in truth.

If Trump has been touching kids, let's send him to prison. If it's Ryan, McConnell, Pelosi, Santa Claus, I don't care. Try them for the crimes we can prove they committed. But let's try to stick to facts.

There is an interesting column by Ruth Marcus in the WaPo today. The comment section brings out some additional "facts" in the Franken matter. If you have a subscription to WaPo, you can read it. If not, perhaps a friend will copy it to you.

I'm going to call an end to my side of this discussion. It's almost Thanksgiving and I have other matters to attend to.

    Have a good holiday.

Not a pivot. You missed the whole point. Your whole theme in this conversation has been to act as if republicans are the evil ones and democrats' evil, mild and trivial is no where near the evil of republicans. I guess, idunno, you think being a democrat protects people from humanity's capacity for evil? Naive. Partisan. Tribal.

I mentioned Wiener to remind you that this democrat, so close to the inner circle of the candidate your party nominated, was texting his junk to underage girls. My point, if you'd not have been looking so hard to find a way you could be right, was that human programming for evil doesn't care what party you belong to.

And you still couldn't give up. You actually googled for a list of convicted republicans, as if oh, surely a list of convicted republicans found on the internet proves republicans are so much more evil than what? YOUR party? Because if there are three or four more republicans convicted of crimes than democrats that means your party is more ethical? At least a little? Then you cut and run.

    Dude. Really? Optics man.

Well. Whatever. Okay. Have a great thanksgiving.

    Now I'm done.

So, you equate fanny patting and "groping" with statutory rape and ephebophelia.

The only "equating" of the two has been that BOTH are felony sexual assault crimes according to LAW. Convictions (not possible on either solely due to statute of limitations) on BOTH would result in lifelong reporting as a sexual predator.

Only you have excused the one crime that has pictorial evidence that takes it from "she said, he said" allegation to near certainty. And your reasoning? That Franken somehow clairvoyantly knew that his victim would pose topless 6 years later, therefore he was ENTITLED to grope her breasts as she slept.

That is repugnant. It is paternalistic, slut-shaming, "she got what she deserved because she asked for it by not being a virtuous woman", "she's just a wh*re anyway", misogyny.

You have no moral high-ground on this. Your opinion on this topic is deep in the "moral swamp" muck and ooze... and you continue to dig even deeper into it.
