I did the same last winter when the ice was too thin to fish. Thousands.Worked with the Dillon 550b for a couple of hours yesterday and cranked out another 300 rounds of .223 “plinking” ammo.
That's where I'm headed with 45acp as well. The 185gr gives it good velocity with CFE Pistol. A little over 1100 in 1911. I can't remember the grains exactly. It was over 8gr. I'd have to look it up in my notes to be sure.Breaking away from my normal heavier bullet syndrome, I been stuffing 5.5 Hercules Bullseye under these 185 XTP’s torched with WPP. O.A.L. Is 1.245”.
Clock says 925 average fps with a SD of 7.
See you on the range

Where did you find .360 caliber bullets?Loading some .38 Smith and Wesson for the first time. Sort of like a .38 special short. A 140 grain lead bullet over 2.5 grains of Green Dot.
I’ve been using .357/.358 diameter with no noticeable issues. I have two handguns chambered in .38 Smith and Wesson. If I ever acquire a gun that won’t shoot the smaller bullets good enough I will certainly look at the .360 diameter.Where did you find .360 caliber bullets?
I have an old revolver around very early 1900 in 38 S&W. I had a few .360 caliber bullets for it, but haven't seen any for years. So was hoping you had a line on some.I’ve been using .357/.358 diameter with no noticeable issues. I have two handguns chambered in .38 Smith and Wesson. Ah I see. I have been looking at old H&R top break revolvers from that time frame on Gunbroker. Cool old guns and don’t break the bank.I have an old revolver around very early 1900 in 38 S&W.
