I might pee my pants in excitement.

Then we will have to call you "theweakerbladder" instead. :dunno:

(Yes, you probably WILL pee your pants the first time you hold the trigger back on a full-auto, followed up quickly by the same huge poop-eating grin that EVERYONE gets)

Just in case anyone was wondering, Shooter521's MAC is running just fine and will be ready for NFA Day. . . . ;)

Why yes, yes it will. :)

A couple weeks ago, the AAC mechanical buffer I had been running for the past several years gave up the ghost. I replaced it with a one-piece, 8oz. buffer from Hahn Precision. The Hahn buffer has the added benefit of being longer, which reduces the bolt travel distance and, I believe, improves reliability. The gun seems to run just a little faster (there was a noticeable pickup in cyclic rate going from the GA Arms Canned Heat to Winchester USA "white box"), which is fine by me. Singles and doubles are still quite achievable. The new mags from USMachinegun.com ran great, too. We blew through about 300 rounds this afternoon without a single hiccup. :yesway:

Our gracious host got in a little trigger time, as well.

Mrs. Al Qaeda Claus with her cleverly-disguised IED took a burst to the face. Better cancel Christmas... :):

For the .22lr's, can we bring a swinging metal target?

We (the event organizers) have targets pretty well covered. There will be paper, steel, bowling pins, water jugs, tethered baseballs, and various types of seasonal produce. :D

All the attendees need to bring are themelves, their ammo, whatever food item they are assigned, and a willingness to learn and have fun.

    Tyler,

I haven't worked out the pitch-in food needs yet. I'll try to get that done this week. Time is moving quickly! In five weeks or so, it will be NFA Day! :rockwoot:
