people are welcome to use my Hi Point 9mm carbine. I'm sure other people would let them use there ar's or ak's. This is a community people, i know at least 10 people who are always letting others shoot there carbines.

and yes it is from standing.

hum.... 3 second total for 10 shots? could we go with perhaps 5 or 7 seconds. That is gonna be a lot of rapid fire, very close to a target with some big rifles.

I think what Jedi is saying is the RO is going to come out of his room like this:
:xmad:"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING!!!!!"

    :ar15::ar15::ar15::ar15::ar15:

I'll go in the second group.

I'll be there! I'll be bringing two people with me.

    I'll probably bring the following:

    Kimber 1911 .45
Savage .308 (trying to sight the bastard in at 200 yards
    HK USP 40
    Savage 22-250
    870

Maybe a few others. You can shoot these to your heart's content...all I ask is you supply ammo. Is anything else needed? Food? Pop? etc?

Run whatever you want on your centerfire rifles. If you guys think it is to close we could move it back to 25 yards.

But I think you guys are thinking about it the wrong way. If you want to rapid fire then fine, but I never said you had to fire all 10. yes a perfect score would be 300, but if you rapid fire, you could easily be hitting off the target or low numbers and come out with a sub 100 score. Or you could hit the target 4 times in the center and get a score of 120. It is all about strategy. Then again someone might choose to get off 10 rounds and they might hit the center every time, who knows. The time restraint is the largest factor here for most if not all the people in the competition.

Jedi and melensdad no more wasting are money on 1 lb propane tanks.
    14bc3f1f.jpg

With this we should be able to run 3 grills on one 20 LB tank or if some one brings another 20 LB tank I have another hose to run 4 grills with two 20 LB tanks.

I don't think my soon to be wife will come :):, but I will.

    Marlin 795
    RR Middy AR

    Glock 22 .40 or 9mm
    Ruger LC9
    Hi-Point .45

    Remington 11-87
    870 with dual pistol grips

    All with limited ammo

How will the 3 seconds be judged for the rifle comp?

aaaahhh now this makes more sence and I'm OK with the 3seconds.
Yes I think we might have 1 or 2 members who will try to dump 10 rounds, but suspect most will do 3 to 5 within that timeframe to get a better score.

We are 2 weeks away and our at our usual 30ish number of people.
So with that in mind who can bring bread?

I'll have 32 burgers so so looking for 32 burger buns.
On the hot dog/braut side we have 18 brauts (for sure) and an unknown count of dogs.

@Jeff W how many dogs do you plan on bringing?

    @All
Do I have a volunteer to bring the plywood? We have $44 in the pot so I figure 5 to 6 sheets we can do.

I've got the burger buns covered. 32 right?

QUESTION: being that this is on a Sunday, would anyone be interested in camping out the night before at Tippecanoe River? I understand its right down the road from Winamac?
