    Highly likely:

    Last 5 games are:

    @ NY Jets -W
    Home vs. Texans
    @ MN Vikings
    @ Raiders
    Home vs. Jacksonville

If they happen to win the 4 AFC games they have an outside chance at a wild card berth (need a bunch of other teams to collapse). I think they can beat the Jets and Jags. Maybe they can beat Houston since they had them beat in Indy earlier this year. Oakland will stomp on the pretty hard though. The Vikings game will be a toss-up I think.

At this point its going to be a challenge to even have a winning season. Heck, 3 out of the last 5 to go .500 will be tough. Being mid pack in the worst division in football right now is not a good place to be.

With a win this week vs Houston it could get really interesting.

With a win this week vs Houston it could get really interesting.

The Texans, thus far, control their destiny with respect to tiebreakers (3-0 in the division, while the Colts are 2-2, and the Titans are 1-3), and have an easier schedule in the final 4 games (3 division games, plus CIN). The Colts control their destiny with an outright lead, but have a more difficult schedule in the final 4 games (including @ MIN and @ OAK).

So, the Colts not only need to win vs. HOU next week to take an outright lead in the division, but also need either to win out entirely (not likely), or else need HOU to drop another division game, while the Colts win vs. HOU, vs. JAX, and one of either @ MIN or @ OAK. By my counting, that would put the tie-breakers:

    1. Head-to-head: IND 1, HOU 1
    2. In-division: IND 4-2, HOU 4-2
    3. Common opponents: IND 8-6, HOU 7-7

IND wins the common opponents tie-breaker.

But, if HOU beats both TEN and JAX, while losing to the Colts, then HOU would win the in-division tie-breaker, with a 5-1 record to the Colts' 4-2 division record - meaning that the Colts would have to win out their final 4 games in order to win the division.

Honestly, our standing depends more on Denver and KC. If Oakland gets a couple games up on KC and Denver then they may rest their starters vs the Colts for the game vs Denver.

Not as long as they're still fighting with New England for the #1 seed/HFA.
