How many rounds do you put down range before you ask for help?

70 slugs, yes I said seventy, I'll never understand people.

No answers, only questions. One of two ladies in a blind leading blind training session, both shooting revolvers VERY poorly.

I've never seen ankle OC before. Although most would glance at it and think it's a Lo-jack and pay no more attention.

I have frequently been left stupefied, dumbfounded, amazed at the number of people that seem to believe if they just keep loading and shooting sooner or later they will see something show up on paper.

No sight adjustments, no changing the point of aim, no admission of failure and moving to a closer target board, just shooting and hitting nothing (nothing intentional anyway).

Someone chewed into one of our baffles about 30 yards out on the rifle range. Several people suspect it was intentional because there are about thirty holes in it. Others think it was just plain incompetency, lack of knowledge, lack of comprehension and lack of due diligence by the on-duty RSO.

    "Where am I hittin'?"
"I can't tell, just keep shootin'!".

There's a time to stand still, under ideal conditions, and work on making as small of a group as possible.

A self-defense situation isn't one of those times.

So - one can do and "be" both parts of this meme and still be OK.

I aspire to be accurate WITH volume. But I don't have the time to practice/train.

Obviously not a professional shooter. 5 Yard target:rolleyes:

I need a time line on the shots. One was in the shoulder. Was that the first shot and then he knew where the bad guy's head would be after he took out the shooting arm?

You don't give enough credit... this dude is a demi-god.

I know you are getting tired of the blind leading blind training so this will be last post about that but I see it every time I work. Starting your lady out with a 45acp 1911 NOT the best choice.

3 Yard target, typical trigger slap.

    And the tea cup grip.

Are you joking?!? I'm THRILLED that you've found an easier way to post pictures.
This is easily one of my favorite threads to see updated.

Makes me less anxious about the rest of the idiots I'm forced to share the range with.
At least I can be assured they're only about average idiots instead of full-on idiots.

I am with you RoseJM. This is first thread I look for. Partially for a laugh and partially to make sure I did not do anything stupid on my range trips and make this thread. LOL
