Well, is this on the rentor? Or on the rental counter? They'd obviously have little experience with this rental firearm.

Certainly there should have been some questions asked/instruction provided somewhere.
I'm also going out on a limb and saying that there's a possibility that happened and was met with "Yeah, yeah I know what I'm doing."

That could have been the first red flag...

I see a lot of what I call “side lookers” for lack of a better term. They are the shooters who, after EVERY shot point the muzzle up at an angle and turn the gun to the side and look at it.:dunno:Oddly, it’s usually older males who do it, and I have even asked them why they are doing it and to keep the muzzle down range, only to have them give me a puzzled look. It’s one of the strangest quirks I see in the range, and I see it a LOT.

A few months back there were two gentlemen who were sharing a stall 3 or 4 lanes down from me. I watched one of them end every single shot of the revolver he was shooting with it pointed straight up in the air. Every. Single. Shot. :ugh:

If pics were easier to post this thread would be so much more amusing. Too much of what I see is impossible to believe without pictures.

If you send me a PM I can get you an email addy and I will post some for you. Just because I like seeing some pics to go along with some of the stories.

It is easy tho, although more time consuming than just doing a cut and paste to the forum.

Here are a few pics forwarded to me by NHT3

First one was guy complaining that he couldn't hit the rabbit, but there is no rabbit. The rest are self explanatory.

    So is that Coach ?
I mean he has two pistols but how did he grow a ponytail?
Who let him wear a tacky sweater from 1988?

I knew that was coming and I hesitated to post the pic because of that. I took that pic because it was 180 degrees from Coach other than WHERE the pistols were carried and the contrast amused me. Week between Christmas and New Year was a ZOO. Lots of new toys were on display as well as complete lack of knowledge.

Overheard at the range today.. Guy and his buddy discussing a target shot with an SKS "that's good enough for combat, the accuracy will come" Guy teaching his wife, first head shot hit after 5 misses "there you go, do it that way every time". Another guy girl training session with a Glock after shooting FMJ ammo and switching to HP ammo, "these are some no fooling around bullets". I guess you're just "fooling around" if you shoot someone with a FMJ. it's a laugh a minute.

In that first pic, there is a pig with wings on it. Could you imagine if pigs could fly? I bet the wings would be delicious!

REP for that :).. What a tasty thought, and it wouldn't take 10 of them to fill you up.
