Did you know that the origins of the "wings" comes from the French revolution? In one famous incident, the National Assembly members lined up on the left and right sides of the room. The people on the RIGHT wanted to live under a king. The people on the LEFT were in favor of radical ideas, like free markets and allowing the peasants to vote.

I approve of this INGO history lesson.

The SCs are not "right wing", just political a la cartists. Most of them are nuts, but some of them are criminal just using the SC "philosophy" as a stalking horse to hide their scams.

I'll post that write up of them that the Canadian judge did. I've posted it on INGO before and it does a nice job giving the history of their insanity.

I have no fear of "right-wing" terrorists. There is no such thing! There are neo-nazi fascists (i.e. skin heads) which are a fringe group and there are Islamic terrorists. When was the last time you heard of a "Christian" terrorist? Or a CONSERVATIVE terrorist? Or even a Republican terrorist?

Just give it a little more time.......

The same people that bomb abortion clinics and murder their doctors? That's a type of American conservative terrorist.

actually, by murdering doctors and bombing their businesses they are anti-capitalistic and anti-free market. So they are technically socialists/communists or econo-fascists.

Quick, when was the last time that happened?

    The list is pretty skimpy.

Napolitano was barely in office when they came out with this same crap in 09. We could be fighting ISIS in Broad Ripple and the left would still be going after their political enemies.

Ideologically, they are nearly identical. The defining difference is that one group is willing to act violently to advance their ideology, and the other isn't.

As an addendum, in what way is this a libertarian ideology?

"Our final goal is the destruction of imperialism, the seizure of power, and the creation of socialism. Our strategy for this stage of the struggle is to organize the oppressed people of the imperial nation itself to join with the colonies in the attack on imperialism. This process of attacking and weakening imperialism involves the defeat of all kinds of national chauvinism and arrogance; this is a precondition to our fight for socialism." ~ Bill Ayers, Prairie Fire, 1974

I don't particularly care what they call me, I've got some pretty not-so-nice terms for them also. I can call them whatever I want but I leave them alone, as long as they play by the same rules we're all good.

"Libertarian" ideology is not a singular thing, which is why I specified the type of libertarian ideology to which I was referring - and that strain of anarchist anti-government ideology is not far from the Ayers quote: destruction of imperialism, defeat of "national chauvinism", etc. Is there a difference? Sure. Ayers recognized that the most likely thing to fill the vacuum created by such efforts would be socialism.
