I especially loved the "it's complicated" answer to a simple, direct, knowable, finite answer, question like - how many class 3 and above hurricanes have landed in the last ten years? Hahaha...someone's been spending too much time looking at FaceBook relationship statuses.

It's appalling. She clearly doesn't know the real answer and her innate hubris prevents her from admitting it or even feeling the need to actually google and learn.

    Appalling.

It wouldn't be so bad if this woman and her associates were not making our lives more difficult and expensive solely to satisfy their political and social whims.

    Appalling.

He left off the most important and influential $ubset of group 3 that is driving global warming alarmists. Green energy companies. The green energy market cannot exist on its own without subsidies. It can't compete with fossil fuels on price. In many cases the cost of green energy isn't even in the same order of magnitude as fossil fuels. If green energy were not subsidized, most people would buy fossil over green, because that's what is affordable.

But there is much opposition to subsidizing. So, the green energy companies need to get rid of that opposition so governments can help people afford their more expensive solutions. Tree huggers are down with that, politicians are down with that, and the press is down with that. So we hear people talking about making it illegal to even say that global warming is a hoax.

So...the Grolar is the result of Climate Change. Warming environment "pushing" the grizzly further and further north? Don't think so.

Grizzlies and Polars have had overlapping territory for a very long time. Polars prefer breeding on ice and Grizzlies on land, that's why these genetically similar species seldom mate. Now, it may follow - if you believe polars are doing more things on land because ice is disappearing - that they are now breeding on land but where is that data? Where is that observation? All we have is genetically proven (three in three years) hybrids that may well be a normal number of occurrences for a non-lowering ice availability time period. Just because something is now possible to prove, does not mean it's never happened before.

Talk to some Inuit. They will tell you there are more polar bears now than ever. I suspect they will tell you stories from decades ago that grolars were found, but rare. But then, why try to find answers when we already have one, right?

This from Grolar or pizzly? Experts say rare grizzly-polar bear hybrid shot in Nunavut | Investor Central - Penny alerts

"Grashelis said polar bears and grizzly bears have similar genetics and have a history of interbreeding. He believes that interbreeding is happening more frequently due to climate change."

Here's an example of what I'm saying, there is a "history of interbreeding", but he "believes" it's more frequent due to climate change. Proven interbreeding, but a "belief" it's related to something else now. Where's that data? Where's the supporting evidence? Have biologists witnessed Polars breeding on land more often now? Are Inuit seeing more Polar breeding on land now? Belief is not science!

This one dares to say there could be other explanations: Bear killed by Inuit hunter may be rare polar-grizzly hybrid [pizzly bear]

For instance grizzly management practices could be part of the equation...more grizzlies...higher concentrations further into unusual territory...(you mean like cougars east of the Mississippi?)...could be. At least this article is willing to wait for more data to draw firm conclusions.

In any other scientific field saying "I think" or "I believe" as an explanation with no supporting research will get you laughed out, but when it comes to climate change research feelings and beliefs are as concrete as facts and evidence.
