We bought this a while ago (around the same time as our NutriMill Electric Grain Mill) and we stopped using it for the same reasons (grain-related health issues). Since then, it has been carefully stored in our smoke free home.
It is in great shape, and works as it should.
These mills also have an integral blender base, though we've never used ours and have never had a blender pitcher for it; I'm guessing it would be easy enough to find one.
