And then there's the other doozy du jour: that melting sea ice (even though arctic sea ice is at a decadal maximum, and antarctic ice is at the same level is was in the Magical Year of 1979), which in turn has led to lower air temperatures. (I'll have to see if I can find a link to that one.)

My in-laws in Amman said they are getting a lot of snow. Yeah, its snowing on Jordan. Apparently this is happening quite a bit more often than it did in my father in law's youth (as in he can't remember it ever snowing as a kid).

George bush is doing the Fracking that is causing the earthquakes which in turn are causing the volcanoes to EXPLODE

I like the IDEA of an electric car from a few different perspectives. What I don't like is the government choosing winners and losers.

Like the Porsche 918 Spyder Hybrid. Gas and electric power, 887hp and 590 ft/lbs of torque. 0-60 in 2.5 seconds. It's only $845,000.

If GM made them, they'd sell to people who were "saving so much money on gas" for $30,000 and the taxpayers would eat the other $815,000.

Lets take them to court for wasting taxpayer $$$$

And for comparison of fossil fuels to buggy whips....
If you wanted to replace horses with horseless carraiges..... in 1500 AD, then I might agree.

Because something is the wave of the future, doesn't mean it's ready for the present.

It might just be me but the info provided by the Daily caller is from climate depot who is funded by CFACT who have Exxon as their largest money investors. So if they are doing research on climate change would they ever publish reports that would make their biggest financial donor look bad?
