How can that be reconciled with their chants of "save democracy!" ?

Now we’re all starting to see the real leftist mindset. They don’t actually care about democracy or America or whatever they claim. They only care about beating Trump.

We’ve seen it in this very thread. Something to the affect of, “There’s literally nothing that democrats could do that would make me vote for Trump.”

They could light the American flag, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights on fire on national television and it wouldn’t matter one bit to their voters. Burn it all to the ground. As long as it isn’t Trump.

I'm starting to wonder if Dr. Jill is hoping she can exercise the Dingell option and replace Joe after the party sucks him dry. After all she is a Doctor and has more than likely been making or weighing in on decisions for the last 3 years.
For those not familiar with the Dingell option see how Debbie Dingell got her seat in congress. (Marry an old guy and step into his seat when he croaks) works every time if you are a DIM. What could be more woke than two women on the DIM ticket? (A sexist would say)

If bidiot is swapped out for anyone other than Kammy, it effectively means votes from the Dems didn't count. They voted for bidiot and mystery meat girl, yet it will be someone entirely different, all at the whim of the dnc. How can that be reconciled with their chants of "save democracy!" ?

I think Trump should be tried for treason and hung for his 2020 election schemes..

Trump is a malicious imbecile who tried to stay in office after he lost…add to that his impact on scotus/rvw, his immigration policies, his Covid “leadership”…and at this point there is literally nothing he can do to earn my vote.

Additionaly, with Trump on the ballot there is literally nothing the democrats can do to lose my vote.

Just like when I lived on the left coast: who cares. Electoral college means my vote counts not at all and supreme court has decided THEIR vote doesn't matter that much either so, may as well write in Tiger King.
EDIT-Had a better idea may as well just give my vote to the Insurance conglomerate or defense contractor directly. I'm voting for Pratt and Whitney

I used to feel sorry for people who didn't understand the value of the electoral college. I have changed my view of that all together now. Education is available to everyone so why feel sorry if people don't want to learn?

He has repeatedly made sexual comments about his own daughters on record…which is not really that surprising when you consider his fondness for Jeffery Epstein and his gal Maxwell.

Malicious? He had thousands of children taken from their parents at the border with no mechanism in place to reunite them. Hundreds will never see their parent again because of Trump’s malicious intent.

It should be too late to swap candidates. The filing deadline for almost every state in the union has passed (a few I was unable to find). They chose their horse, let them ride it to the finish line. If he falls over dead let Kamala take his place.

It's being discussed as almost a given at this point. Why should that be allowed? Why should Indiana allow a candidate on the ballot who missed the filing deadline?

Wasn't Joe being warned about not meeting the deadline in ?Ohio? and it was considered if he would lose his spot on the ballot?

I agree, no more double standards. Same rules for all, no exceptions. After all, no one is above the law! Right?

While I don't agree with many of the things you've typed out, I believe in your right to say them. Freedom applies to everyone, not just those that we think are right. Doesn't work any other way.

I mean cards on the table here I'm ... many of you would hear the policies I would like to have enacted and you'd call me a red communist but really I'm just trying to get this nation back to where it was in the 1940s, when direct worker bargaining power made the American industry the envy of the world in quality, productivity, and quality of life.
But the modern Democratic party does not represent my politics or ethics any better than the Republican party does, and if they ARE the presumed defenders of my point of view the gladiator they threw into the arena last night is evidence that they neither have a finger on the pulse of the American people nor the physical pulse of the human President next to them. Its infuriating.

Without the electoral college, all policy would be federal, and all policy would be decided by LA and NYC.

While you might love that, you need to also have respect for the fact this is a big country of 50 states. One size fits all solutions for everything would rightly warrant a civil war.
