From the article one of the clean up workers working with the man running against Pelosi was assaulted and robbed. The district rep in a tweet says this is a racist political act-"be on your toes!".

So one of the guys responsible to clean up one of the worst areas is mad when he gets free help to get it cleaned up??

[Because it isn't about getting the job done, it is about maintaining the problem so it lets you keep collecting a nice salary or even worsening a problem so you can get more funding and hire your friends. Government isn't about solving problems, the 'Never let a good crisis go to waste' quote should tell you all you need to know. Notice how the 'war on terror' was beginning to look a lot like the 'war on poverty' until Trump came along?]

Happily none of the workers or registrees were hurt. Police investigating as aggravated assault.

Oddly only description of perp being published is “young man driving old brown van.”
