I can't help but think there is a bigger drug crime issue then we are led to believe in Indy.

If it is this bad now what is this summer going to be like?!

“You hear from the people out here that they’re tired of all this violence,” Harrison said. “They’re tired of what they’re seeing going on in this neighborhood.”

I wonder if they are "tired" enough to stop hiding the thugs, refusing to cooperate with police, etc. Communities that actually stand up and turn on the bad element, cooperate with law enforcement and social services, etc. generally see a marked decline in violence.

This has been escalating for a while now.

Folks need to remove their heads from the sand and realize that this is not going away and LEO has their hands full here.
When the neighbors will not identify or admit what is going on and the family's have no idea why (bravo sierra) what can be done. This sub-sub-culture is allowed to infiltrate these araes and is tolerated because of the revenue it brings.

We have a serious heroin issue down in Owen County with some very bold break ins that have happened this year. It will be a long summer. I was just near that area in Indy last Friday and it has really changed.

How do 4 (1+1+1+1) people all get shot "multiple" times (minimum of 8, which is 1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1 shots fired if each citizen -trying not to profile here- is shot twice) in a house that showed signs of forced entry (WTH? Breakaway doors on this house in the 'hood?!) AND NOBODY DO'T HEAR NOTHIN' SO NOBODY DON'T BE SEEIN' NOTHIN'?! The people in these neighborhoods with their heads in the sand need to own that :poop:.

How? Because they know exactly what went down, and maybe even by who, and they don't want to be next.

Different culture than what you are I are used to. As a matter of fact, we would call it SHTF and be digging out our 3-day packs and heading for the woods. For some folks, this is just another day in paradise.

This. People act like reporting crime in a high crime violent neighborhood is the obvious choice.

    That's powerful motivation.

Were these three citizens "known to law enforcement"? Edit: Never mind. I opened your link and see their portraits. Indystar failed to share these in the article I was reading.

You should have seen all the people ragging on Fox59 for posting their mug shots on their Facebook page. I couldn't believe all the "You all don't know what they were like" and "They were beautiful people" comments. Um, they obviously have criminal records and were involved (most likely) in situations that led to their demise. I guess my idea of "beautiful people" is different than theirs. :dunno:
