Too much light pollution here. I wish that I could drive to the cabin.
I saw the dark spot on top, DM
My brother-in-law (Phd. Physicist) has taken up astrophotography for a new hobby. I'll check with him in a few days, and see if he took any photos.

Too much d**n light pollution here too!
World’s largest soccer field, Frankfort, Kokomo, not to mention Indy.
    I hate it.
New neighbors that move out from Carmel to the “country”. Stop it.

Beautiful but windy day here in The Land of Entrapment. Drove up to the Sandia Peak and walked to the Stone cabin with our daughter and grandson. We can see the cabin from our deck with binoculars. In the sunset picture it is just to the left of the trees in the right third. You can’t see it in this picture tho. It’s about 15 miles away as the crow flies. About an hour walk over pretty rugged ground. Grandson walked there and we carried him about half the way back. I took a two hour nap when we got home.
Sunset pic is off our deck it went as far north and south as you could see before disappearing into the trees.

Three year old Grandson is fearless to the point of being dangerous to himself. He was halfway up to the roof in this picture from where was and would get mad if I got any closer, while daughter is saying “He’s FINE Dad!!”

Cold and windy, not too busy. People with only T shirts were turning around or staying 30 seconds. I’ve seen 50 people up there at one time. Today, never more than 6, and we were 4. 10,320 ft elevation.
