Not.. exactly.

Blind people are allowed guides. If the Blind person gets a medal, the guide does to. The guides are often not disabled.

Exactly….Racing is about the only sport that still says prayer and National Anthem before each event,sometimes you even get a God Bless America and pledge allegiance to the flag also

They are only allowed to use one hand on the pistol so putting the other hand in a pocket can help stabilize the upper body and maybe help him shoot better. The chinese and South Korean guys do it too and probably a lot of others. It looks like some grab a belt loop instead.
