Ancjr said "9mm? That doesn't sound right..."

Hey Ancjr, DD, you guys were right. I was just at Walmart to grab taco makings and some oil and Lucas fuel treatment for both main cars.

The 9mm I saw on the shelves a couple of weeks back was not ammo.
It was a box that resembled the old Blazer boxes, but it was a box with ten Snap Caps for 9mm. And they had quite a few more caliber Snap Caps.

I did not see any handgun ammo and I looked closely and found an attendant.

I wonder how they would react if I brought in my Browning Model 94, chambered in .44 Magnum, told them I was new to this and asked if they could he'p me find the right "burllets" for my "riffle."

I can't say when the last time I bought any ammo at all off the shelves, anywhere.

I usually order from an online source, following a good deal somewhere.

As far as my Browning .44, don't worry. I have a top load I've work up for use with that little guy.
    Quite a few on hand.

Time to brush my teeth and hit the shower. Susan wants me to move some floor lamps out of the living room in preparation for Stanley Steemer. Then I think I'll go ahead and do the grocery shopping.

Bike ride was cut short this morning. We had had a good soaking over night.
Rain had let up, I thought.
Had my Colts pancho on and my cap to save my glasses, just in case.
Did not matter much when the wind kicked up again and rain was hitting from the side.
    Made it home, soaked.

It seemed to be done again by about 7AM when I got back from the store. Toyed with the idea of heading out again, until it got so dark a few minutes ago.
Now it's pouring down pretty good.
Had to close my garage cave door.
