He went to Mancino's didn't he??
    Not quite like that.
I meant run "away from screens" and go do some work.

Two hours worth trying to buoy and I'm sinking.

Brothers in arms, I have donned the knee pads!

Been watching our kitchen tile grout become darkened and untenable.
    I got down to it!

Now all is "shiney" and white-like again.

    It hurt! It hurts.

I went ahead and accepted their estimate for aeration and overseeding. I did some figuring, and with the cost of renting the aerator and buying enough seed for my lawn, I'd be spending probably close to $500. Their estimate was for $665 plus tax, so $711-ish total. Now will I do that every year? Probably not. But I just want to get the yard back in shape again to where maybe I'll be able to keep up with it better than I have this year.

This is how it is when the last rays of the last days are within view.

We just have to pay some and let others do more for us.
The way you formulated it, you could save some coin drop, but then, the hard work would still fall to you to do.

If you need this, it's yours to do, either way.
    I think you're making a wise choice.

Pay some and turn your back. Enjoy the result.

Yeah, the guy I was talking with at Lawn Pride yesterday is my age (well, almost exactly one year younger - he turns 64 in December and I turn 65) and he and I have that in common. We hate to pay someone to do what we are capable of doing, but like he said, it might cost him a week of pain and a trip to the chiropractor. :):
