I asked why the odd, specific figure on his price to remove the tree.

He said he offered me a discount for having the nut to approach him on a jobsite with chainsaws whirring all around.

He said he appreciates the old school ways. Third generation tree service company.
    I already like him.

Honestly, seeing his equipment is why I chose to stop right then. His huge JLG lift can probably reach the top of most trees here.
Totally not a small potatoes operation!

Got my beef tenderloin at Fresh Thyme, and some 16-20 shrimp. They were out of the Wagyu ground beef for 4.99/lb.. I splurged on some organic 85% lean and will be making burgers on the grill today. Youngest granddaughter ate pancakes earlier, oldest is eating now, so lunch will be later than normal.

You're choppin' in some high cotton.
    :):

Only shopping thing I found worth mentioning was this morning, across from the Farmer's Market, Kroger, they had huge sea scallops, frozen, BOGO.

So for $16 I got four lbs of 2in dia, inch thick sea scallops. These will grille up nicely.
Have not seen these in years!

Of course the Farmer's Market was flush with fresh produce to haul home.
And my BBQ friends were back.

I got to thinking, and as expensive at that organic, antibiotic and steroid-free grass fed ground beef was, it was still cheaper than McDonalds by about half. Got two pounds for what two double quarter pounders would've cost.
