My aunt had one on her shin, they took a chunk out almost to the bone.

Just pulled a couple pieces of Ahi tuna out of the freezer. Going to blacken them and have them with some fancy mac 'n cheese for lunch.

Brrr... breeze has gotten a little chilly.

Breeeze out of the north from my perspective. Fairly constant. Chill still, past 9:30AM.

Makes me wonder where all this expected heat is coming from.
The Gulf can do that, though. Just seems early to have the Gulf warm enough to do that much.

I think it's coming from the west and southwest. SoCal and the desert southwest have had excessive heat warnings lately and that's what's heading our way.

For me, pies!
Never encountered a pie I did not conquer.
Pecan pie is the winner.

Fruit pies are wonderful, antioxidant blast, too.

Pecan pie is basically over sugared custard with tasty, oily wood floating in it. Delicious!

Odd one was the highest temperatures recorded in the area for the "low temp" of the day. 92F for a low temp last week.

Yeah, I think it's part of the same system, but won't be that extreme by the time it gets here. That's just too danged hot!
