Did any of you folks get the lightning last night?

Kind of high up, cloud to cloud, if it hit the ground it was far away.
Small rumbles of distant thunder sounded like someone wadding up a BIG bean bag chair.

Getting my ammo cans put back in the closet where I had the plumbing leak. I've had a fan running on it since Friday, so it's good and dry now. Still, putting plastic cans on the bottom row.
I also dedicated a closet floor for this purpose. Luckily no copper nearby to create that issue.
Bought a uniquely shaped can off Amazon a few months ago that was flatter and very sturdy for the bottom layer.

The bucket I had just over half full of 9mm had more in it than I thought at first.
Not a paint bucket, but one those big yellow kitty litter rectangle jobbies.

    Holds a lot!
I began last night to count them out by 100s and sort a little.

Trying to guess, I think I had 5K or near that in that bucket when I started. Almost 2K all sized and tumbled, but not that much of a dent in the To Do still.
Just me and my single stage.

I'm listening to the mellow ambling of the last post I made in the music thread. Jazz.

Yep, old lazy guy with almost 20K CDs is listening to music from this site. My choice of music, but I feel lazy.

Yesterday I was mostly bumping around out here in the shop, errands, sizing, tumbling, mono stack humming, etc.

What I did not know until last night was that my daughter has made some amazing plum preserves.
Beautiful plums from Kroger, ate one as soon as I saw them Friday!

3 pints and some left, too little to fill a small jar.
    Delicious!

She wants to learn more canning and I am here to help. Grandma got me (and most of us young scabs) going before my age had two digits. Early on!
