Hi Jay and agreed. This daily watering is getting a bit old.

Almost lunch time. Got dog poop picked up. Started absentee neighbor's and our sprinkling systems. Had been under a 3 day "no irrigation" restriction for weed control treatment applied on our shoreline Tuesday morning. Pretty nice out, especially in shade. 80* with gentle breeze.

Saw drought map this morning. From Warsaw north was out of the official drought area. But with this hot weather, breezes/wind, and no real rain in sight the whole area is going to get rapidly worse. Longer range ag forecasts do not look promising.

We always said that regarding irrigating crops ( we began in 1969). But sure beats the alternative.

I have an in-ground automatic system pumping lake water ( currently water temp in low 80's ) vs. well. I think that has a benefit. Spent my life raising crops and tending animals...always did the best job I possibly could. Now I grow grass ( the legal kind ) and dogs...and do the very best I can.

In my garden anyway, I always felt it just kind of kept it alive, which is good, but you just don't get the growth and harvest.

OMG! I finally got my UB04 form. Only took a week. LMAO! What happened today? I found someone who actually cared and stayed on the phone with me til I actually received it. AMEN! Praise the Lord.

I also consolidated all my prescriptions to my primary care doctor. I had 5 different doctors people, in charge of 5 different prescriptions. Ridiculous.
