Because she seems to embody the British elitism (and xenophobia) that we fought to rid ourselves from. Or, earlier, seek to flee from.

If nothing else, calling for a "final solution" is reprehensible alone. But really, there's manifold reasons to keep a distance from her.

One side says thinking of the Holocaust is calming, the other side wants to repeat it.

What does she mean by final solution? I don't know anything about her. Wiki didn't have much to say other than that she says provocative things and is accused of being a Nazi. But people say that about everyone right of center. If she's advocating for killing people she disagrees with, yes. I have no use for anything else she has to say, when it's all intended to that end. But I need a lot more to go on before I decide she needs to be canceled.

It is difficult to believe anyone would be so stupid as to use 'final solution' except deliberately

    Too soon? you betcha' !!

It makes me want to check for a connection to Corbyn

    You sound like Printcraft.

She's made other calls for interment camps and referring to people as feral.

Trying to have a NPOV, you gotta admit the at least the optics are really poor.

**** optics. Most of the time, anyway. I care much more about what’s true than optics. So far I see some posters acting like she should be canceled and offering some quotes as proof. I’ve never heard of her until this morning. If she’s seriously, actively, calling for internment camps, or otherwise advocating for Holocaust 2.0, that’s reason enough. I Just like to see that she is indeed what you think she is. Given the hyperbole, I really don’t trust people’s beliefs about other people’s beliefs. They’re usually overstated. You know. Like calling every Democrat a socialist.

And more about the importance of optics, does that really matter when you have years of posts to provide a clearer idea about what I might think? Also, I’m not neutral unless it’s something about which I’m really uninterested. I always have an opinion about issues important to me. But I don’t typically form a solid opinion until I have a pretty good idea about what’s true and what’s not. So, “that’s not a good look” has pretty close to zero influence.

    Two questions:
    1. Did you watch the video I posted, or not?
    2. Was there anything in the video that you found offensive?

I thought it was pretty informative.

KATIE HOPKINS: You're a nice guy, Jeremy, and you're NOT entirely wrong but nothing we've done in the Middle East excuses massacring the innocents of Manchester

As a good honest wife, I told him I had been cross at him all day for the things his said in his speech. He restarted his political campaign after a three-day pause seemingly blaming our foreign policy for terror in the U.K.

I was cross at his timing, angry at the content of the talk and mad as a box of frogs that he seemed to be excusing terrorism as retaliation for intervention overseas.

At a time when five children remain in a critical condition in hospital, when the nation waits under a Critical threat level and our Accident and Emergency units across the country were put on standby, words matter.

We want to hear it is going to be OK. That immediate action is being taken. That those who hate us are being rounded up and locked down. That all those on the watch list, 'known to the authorities', are soon going to be 'known to incarceration' instead.

He appeared to side with every snivelling apologist I have watched on Channel 4 and our state broadcaster over the last two nights.

As a good honest wife, I told him I had been cross at him all day for the things his said in his speech

Corbyn offered a glimpse into a future from hell. In which we continue to apologise for everything, blame everyone else for the evil of an extreme ideology, and expect British people to stand apologetic even as more hammer blows rain down.

'In the past few days we've thought about our country a bit more, the people, our family and friends.'

A bit more? A BIT MORE?

Not a deep dive, but overall I think I like her. She does't seem much of a Corbyn fan. I don't see her calling for interment camps, I think she is more incensed that the perpetrators of horrific acts are always 'known to the police' yet nothing is done with that 'knowledge'. To her (and me) it seems like something The Yard is saying so they don't look totally clueless

And she's not wrong that the MPs have traded away the Britain that many people knew and loved and what has replaced it is repugnant to all but an elite few. It seems like another face of the Brexit polyhedron. I'll wager she is strongly pro-Leave

It sounds like she's a populist kind of person, which isn't evil per se. While I find the remarks about "final solution" distasteful, I don't know the context. I'm not just going to assume the context is Holocaust without the context. Just like I didn't assume the distasteful words of Carl Benjamin's "I wouldn't even rape you" statement means he's a rapist. People say provocative things that are distasteful, to be provocative, but that doesn't make those things an automatic trigger for cancellation.

Sometimes optics are bad because the people doing the viewing can't see through their own clutter. If the final solution is to stop bad immigration policies, fair enough. That's debatable stuff in the public discourse. If she's talking about literal internment camps, and Holocaust 2.0, then **** her, she adds no value to the conversation.

Some believe that you have to read all of the bad about someone to really know them.

I heard a quote from Glen Beck this AM, this is not exact so not really a quote, because I don't remember it exactly.

To have a man that has had 3 wives supposedly with overlap elected President, proves God has a sense of humor.

Well, for starters, referring to immigrants as "trafficked people", and proposing the idea that the church is only helping refugees for $. Maybe in her world everything is tied to money, but for others, they have a Higher Calling.

Then there's the self-victimization, "WASP are no longer the supermajority!" Of course, that's to be expected from someone that restricts her children's playmates based on given names.

Then there's the invoking of Holocaust all without a bit of irony.

    EDIT:
Then at the end, "we fight back for America, for our god, and for your land."

Which god is that? Lemme guess: whichever one isn't Allah.

It's amazing how much you know about some obscure Brit whom I've never heard of until this morning. Or Idunno. Maybe she's very famous and I just don't get out much.

Really, never heard of her before (I kinda want to roll back the clock five hours).

But see, there's this thing called the internet, it let's you find a lot of information really fast.

Like her all you want - just don't pretend like she doesn't have a dark side or speaks the purest of truth.

Remember, I'm a Trumper. I do me, morality-wise, but I don't expect everyone else to be angels

    What else ya' got?

True, we've entered into full-on moral relativism. Nevertheless, kudos that Trump never claimed to be a, "good, honest husband."
