It's also a problem of stature, unrelated to gender in that case.
But most female officers are smaller in stature than men.
And in the case of Trump they are assigned to a tall protectee.
Thay's a problem when you're supposed to be willing to catch a bullet for your protectee.
Also nobody is forcing Trump to keep his head down, and they even paused to let him grab his shoes ... that's another problem in itself.
Get him in his armored car ASAP and buy him a new pair of shoes later.
When agents tried to shield Trump he was exposed at all times. Especially his head.
Even part of his torso since the female officer is also ducking ... or is simply not tall enough to provide cover.
Even when they get him to the car they let him stick his head out, again, for far too long, again, instead of shoving him head first into the back seat.
They also decided to use the door on the right side of the vehicle ... the one facing the crowd ... when he could have been shielded sooner by entering from the left.
I sure hope they get Melissa McCarthy to play her in the movie.

My first thought was John Henry Bonham from Led Zeppelin, but he’s been dead for decades.
One thing that will never go away is if you are a government employee and paid by taxpayers, your actions while on the job will be scrutinized by the paying public. If that is something that would be difficult for you to come to terms with, go to the private sector.
