Just because we talk about our rights and the laws doesnt mean we want to have any kind of interaction with the police. Remember that we all are law abiding citizens.

There is planning and meetings that go on outside of INGO to make sure this goes off without a hitch.

Leaving your pistol at home for the sole purpose of not needing to provide any ID if the cops ask sounds like you are hoping for some interaction. You are hoping they ask for your LTCH so you can rub it in their faces that you don't need one (nor an ID).

When someone who carries a pistol every day of their lives leaves it at home so they won't have to provide the cops ID, that says something.

Those comments were in fact what swayed me on this whole thing. It really demonstrated what your true intentions are.

Yup, getting cuffed in market center really helped our image. I bet everyone who passed thought "look at those stupid cops **** on our Constitution".

When I first read that thread I was infuriated by the cops actions, but anymore... thats not the part that upsets me the most. It never would have happened if people weren't walking around downtown with an MP5 just for show. Yes, I know the MP5 wasn't what caused the cuffs, but do you really think they would have even checked you out if someone didn't have it?

I started out in favor of this stuff and the more I read the more against it I am.

My phone call with Ed consisted of asking who the reporter was who was doing the story, and providing my e-mail address.

My e-mail to Ed afterward thanked him for giving me the information, and offering to assist him with a walk of his own should he decide to do one.

There is no conspiracy. There is no Illuminati. And really guys, you need to invest in a higher grade of Tin Foil. Feel free to PM me if you would like to see the exact text of the e-mail I sent Ed. But as far as this thread is concerned I'm out.
