I'll take a Christmas card with me so we can sign it. Should we get a VISA gift card as well? :dunno:

I'll bring a "Happy Holidays" card BTW.
Holiday greetings - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    That should cover us. :faint:

Just because he is a government employee and there is a separation of Church and State it might be offensive to present a government worker with a card that is clearly linked to Christianity . . . perhaps a pagan Saturnalia card would be more appropriate for a government worker so that we don't offend this secular sensibilities :dunno:

OK, I'm waiting for it, have at it :bat:

Okay how about this to please melensdad.

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit our best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all;”

    PLUS

“a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great, (not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country or is the only “AMERICA” in the western hemisphere), and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, choice of computer platform, or sexual orientation of the wisher.”

(Disclaimer: By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms. This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher who assumes no responsibility for any unintended emotional stress these greetings may bring to those not caught up in the holiday spirit.)

You guys should have come to Pine Island today at lunch. There were a few of us there puffing on Te Amos, RyJ Short Churchills, etc. I even brought in a new to me (early model) Detonics Combat Master that I plan to bring with me next week. Its an older model blued steel gun that has been carried often and shows wear. Its going to be a project gun, I've always wanted to "bobtail" a Combat Master and this is the gun that will get that honor, along with a complete refinishing . . . after I shoot it for a while.

WE?? Don't you own a couple of cigar shops?? LOL

You know when I walk around and pick up your cigar butts . . . I take those in the back, re-roll them and then sell those back to you the next time you visit :rockwoot:

By the way, we had the inspectors come through the new lounge this week and APPROVED everything so we are now getting some real work done!!! Look for a mid-December Grand Opening. :bacondance:

Okay materials for 4 stands have been bought.
    Total cost =
Cost of materials for PVC: $47.16 - $10 donation by Jedi = $37.16

    Thus left over money is
    $31.30 (jediagh) + $20 (Clif45)

I have to go back to Menards tomorrow and buy another 5' of PVC. Why?

Well this is why we do NOT let jediagh play with tools.

I get home and figure I will work on the stand. I take a 5' PVC and measure out 18" and re-measure 18" and then check my paper and yup each leg is 16" (I read 18" don't ask) and do the cut. After I'm done with the cut I look back at the paper and

realized that it's suppose to be 16" NOT 18" so needless to say I just jacked up the measurements and will be short for one of the stands. :xmad: :faint:
