Idiots can really ruin a range session

So, LH and I went to JP.

After a while the range was cold so we went down to fix targets then some jerk starts shooting two benches down. LH got muzzled by one of the tards to the right so it was clear that we should leave.

Less than 30 minutes later we were at the fine Winamac fish and wildlife shooting range.
We chatted it up with a BBC journalist and had a very enjoyable and constructive shooting session.
So the day wasn't a total loss, like I thought it would be, turned out to be pretty good.

Should lonehoosier fall victim to serious injury/death/dismemberment, I would cook bacon for a few shoots as a stand-in until a full time replacement could be trained and put in place.

Getting swept can happen at ANY range ... including Winamac. As a matter of fact, I've witnessed unsafe behavior at all the DNR ranges I've visited ... including my favorite, Kingsbury.

You just have to be aware of who/what is going on around you and know when to call it a day.

I didn't feel like there was anything to say to them. There was a group of them and I know that they either didn't know or didn't care. That combined with our feeling of being swept and shot at was not going to end well if we got into it with them.
