My favorite charity is the friend or acquaintance or random person who needs help. I have been paying it forward for as long as I can remember, and recently I temporarily found myself having to learn to be on the receiving end.

Charity or helping a fellow person I do, but I don't feed the big pharm business plans....

If I have it and someone I know needs help I will do my best to help but I see where the help is going directly and know that it was needed to get someone through a rough time.... not sure if that is really charity, more being a good person...

The only charity (big one) I donate to on a regular basis is St Jude. Besides the groups that stand on the corners and intersections, I donate to them too.

Melensdad, everything OK? Did you get the pump?

Arrived last evening. She programmed it, hooked it up, and tested it. Her blood sugar stabilized and came back down to normal within 4 hours. We are meeting her for breakfast in about 90 minutes (she stayed in her dorm last night after things stabilized) and we plan to head home after breakfast.

Should arrive in NW Indiana about 10pm tonight.

    that is so wrong!
BTW one of the suggested videos after yours was this one (on phone can't link right)
Rescusing Baby Raccons - How to feed and raise coon babies

Short story some guy saved 4 female baby raccons from an attic after the mamma was killed.
They tore up the attic and ceiling in the process.
He ended up taking them to a redhead model :wow: and  who is into rasing baby wildlife.
Few months later the video shows the young raccons in their new home.
