Ick, kids... My mom is looking for a teacher aid position right now for elementary and middle school. I think she has a decent shot being a teacher for 30 years. I asked her if she thought I could be one, she said no. Not for the fact I don't like kids, but because the local schools (Jasper County, Newton County, and southern Porter county) won't even take an aid who doesn't have a teacher degree. There are so many out of work people with teaching degree's, that the schools frankly don't have to touch anyone who doesn't have a teaching degree, and they still have tons of resume's to go through.

OUCH I'm sore.

My old body is not well suited to spend hour after hour beating middle-and-high school kids with steel rods in fencing camp. Today was the final lesson before tomorrow's tournament. 4 hours of fencing tomorrow and then I get a break. Arthritis hurts, add the impact of blades smashing up against kid's face masks (my favorite place to smack them because it makes a lot of noise) and the aftermath of the impact sends a shock wave down my arm into my arthritic joints.

Already took motrin.

Might have to take some bourbon.

It is the dumbest movie ever made. It helps if you are at the cigar lounge, watching with a bunch of people who are making fun of the movie.
