Im still up for no good reason. Woke up at 1 pm yesterday, worked my 3-11 shift and went out on the back porch for a cigar and glass of bourbon at 0500. Cigars almost done and im almost ready for bed

Well as some of you saw of Facebook True BBQ was a major let down. Half assed whikeys list mostly comprised of Beam and Jack. Food was ok but couldn't get over the fact I was promised good Bourbon and they didnt deliver.

I picked up some Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage Reserve bourbon yesterday at COSTCO.

$18.99 a bottle. A bunch of impressive awards for such a cheap bottle.

Its good with a bit of water, very very good, but brutally harsh straight up.

While OC'ing, I had the bartender at Pepes in Valpo thank me for carrying yesterday. Said she felt better with me there knowing I was.

Sump pump question:

Can I add a battery backup too my existing pump or do I have to buy a whole system? I dont currently have a battery backup on the pumps I have now.

My guess would be to add some PVC pipe with a couple of one way valves to keep the water flowing out and not back into the sump pit. Maybe add the battery back up pump to one of the 120 volt pumps.
