We can work 9 hours without a fine, after 9 hours the rr gets fined, we can work up to 12 hours after which we face personal fines. We need 15 hours off, we can come to work with less then 15 hours off, but the rr gets fined. But earlier the. 12 hours and we get personally fined. Days in a row... No fines, they can work us 365 days straight and as long as we work less then 9 hours a day there's no fines.
Which RR you work for? I work for NS

Looks like I won't be instructing any kids for the event, score. I guess now I can bring the scar, since I can supervise my equipment.

Oh don't worry you are the offical kid sitter.
We will feed the kids hot dogs with lots of ketchup and then they get to dry fire your scar before going to Joe for the real thing.
    No napkins either.
    Lol

A big tree split its trunk and 1/2 of it fell. Worst part is it fell into a beautiful spruce tree and damaged that tree.

Time to go work in the woods.

I've got lots of VERY LARGE apple trees, about a 1000 Hawthorns, oak, walnut, locust a few pine and a few spruce. Lots of willow down by the creek.

Turns out I have 3 trunks down. You can see 2 in this photo, but #3 is under these two.

There are all 3 trunks, visible about 1/2 way down(up) the trunk. The spruce they fell into can be seen in the back/left above the top trunk.

Cutting the first 6' chunk, the spruce clearly visible (and damaged)

Couple more cuts, a 30' 2" strap, and the first trunk comes out.
