No. I don't hate my job. I had going to work and dealing with some of the people that also "work" there. Just like pretty much everyone else, but it's not often you can tell your boss you hate coming in and get away with it.

    Well
That's like me saying I love my job. Which I do. Just the "work" part of it.
I do not like dealing with people that can't understand the concept of the equipment they work with.
I do not like dealing with people that don't understand, if you shut a door on an cable often enough, it will split the cable.
I do not like the heat.
    etc
    but I like the equipment.
And, I yell at my boss. But he doesn't know what I do. He just knows others can't do it.

Last day teaching at Ivy Tech today. I'm happy and sad at the same time. 28 years is a long time.

The future is an endless mass of possibilities. (ok, that sounded canned)
But, hopefully something better is in the future.

    Why you leaving?
Finally able to keep crackers in

    Aren't you keeping up.
She's been talking about it for a while.
Are you mad because she posts more than you?

Actually I have tomorrow scheduled off due to blood work I have to get done.
So I won't be back until Monday but have done some work via phone today.
Don't really want to look at my outlook when I get back in. :puke:

Took 3 weeks off once and came back to 15,000 emails. That seemed excessive.

Larry, that about sums it up. I actually like what I do, it's so easy a dead monkey could do it.
I even have a boss that knows exactly what I do, he's done it. I just hold myself and work ethic to a very high standard, and hold others to almost that level. When they are lazy, just don't care, etc, I get frustrated. I don't even have to yell at my boss, he's actually the best boss I've ever had. I love that I can tell him I hate coming in and not get yelled at for it.

We all had one on one interviews with a manager today about ethics. When he asked me if I was aware of any intimidation or retribution by management or supervisors I actually laughed and said "are you kidding me?'
Ethics compliance is just code for "doing what we have to in order to avoid/win lawsuits."

They are training supervisors to do are job because we have union negotiations going on right now. I would love to see them do my job and get it done in a timely manner.

Why do that when we can just keep contracting it out? Are they having you guys do much work right now?

One of my dogs(Ty) is like 13 years old. He's been having pee accidents lately. Just a little bit ago, I went downstairs for about a minute to grab something. When I came back up, there was a puddle of **** in the kitchen. Ty has not budged from where he was sleeping but the other dog, Buddy, moved to another room that requires moving through the kitchen.

I'm pretty sure it was him and he did it to get Ty in trouble.
