I have only once gotten what you describe ctc. Early this year in Jan but after test the doctor concluded it was extreme stress related from work. I had a very delicate project that almost quite literally killed me.

Apart from that the prior times the migraines have been at the base of my neck, head and it move up to the top of my head. Light makes it worse. A dark place is best. I have been lucky that i don't get them much anymore.

Btw the chicken soup did not stay in. Sigh
If I get sick and miss my fishing trip I'm gonna have gg apple you every day for a week.

Yes Jedi. I don't see gunbunnies buying one when the missus jumps out there.

But, that doesn't help the rest.

And yes, some migraine triggers are heat, humidity, storms, etc.
Also some other very common triggers include, I used to suffer from migraines, glad it is a rarity now!
    • Chocolate
    • Peanuts
    • Cured Meats Hot dogs, deli meats, and pepperoni all contain nitrites, nitrites are a trigger
    • Banana
    • Aged or fermented cheese contain large amounts of tyramine
    • Beer, red wine, sherry, and vermouth contain large amounts of tyramine, one of the most powerful migraine triggers
    • Tea, red-skinned apples and pears, apple juice and cider, and red wine all contain tannins
    • Dried fruits (including prunes, figs, and apricots), wine (white and red), and many processed foods contain sulfites

The thing with food is that not all foods affect all people.

Some people have YEAST as a trigger food. Think about a good pepperoni & sausage pizza. You have nitrites in the sauce. Yeast in the dough. Nitrites in both the pepperoni and the sausage meats. Tryamine in the cheese.

I can't eat a Snickers Bar. To me that is just a headache in a package! You've got the peanuts, the chocolate and dairy, which can also be a trigger.

Bacon doesn't bother me at all.

I can eat a reasonable amount of Salami without issue.

Nice thing about food triggers is that you can figure out what bothers you.

Oh. And used Relpex. But im in the process of switching to Trexamet, or something like that.

Have to catch the migraines early. Once they build, nothing will touch them.
Had to see the doc when i had a 2 or 3 week migraine,
lost weight from all the puking.
    Slept next to the toilet.
    At work everyone complained.
No one likes to hear puking.
But we dont get sick days.

Does anyone have a landscape bed edger and/or a sod cutter? Need to cut in some planting beds, but I AM NOT doing it by hand. I can come pick up/drop off. If not I'm going to have to find a rental.

Yes, getting ahead is key. My neurologist recommended caffeine intake to help prevent them. Good excuse to pound coffee.
    Too little caffeine.
    Too much.
    Both can cause it.

Too much meds, and you get a "rebound"

But if you puke 10 minutes after taking a pill, what to you do? More, no more?

Changed 2000 pounds of batteries today. Actually I took the covers off and removed the hold down bars, and then stood back and watched the electrician change the batteries.
I love union work, I just wish it paid better.

I moved 2000 pounds of crushed limestone.
    Wife made me do it.
I don't get paid for it either.
Is there a "Husband Union" anywhere?

Relpax costs me $20 a pill with my insurance, so I don't get it.

Treximet is Imitrex(sumpatripan) and Naproxem. My insurance says no to them. They told me to just buy the two drugs separately, as it is cheaper. Naproxem doesn't do me any good, so I just get the sumatripan. I take a pill and go to bed for a couple of hours.
