I don't keep up with the "brewfests"
I am however going to the Dark Lord Day, in a sense.
I'll actually be 100 feet away at Dark Lard Day. My brother in law and a bunch of friends will be grilling and smoking food while we laugh at the pretentious hipsters as they pretend to taste the sparkling citrus top notes in really mediocre beer.

Y'all are invited, no need to buy tickets.

I was just looking at the rules for douche lord day and buying a ticket does NOT guarantee the you will get ANY of the special beer.
The ticket grants you admission to the event and you are given a scratch off that will tell you if and how much you are allowed to buy.

Also it is CASH ONLY, but they do have ATMs on the premises that I'm sure only have the smallest of service fees.

If you have a Dark lord ticket, you will be allowed to buy Dark lord, the scratch off tickets are for the barrel aged stuff they offer. This year they will allow for a different non purchase admission option for those who just want to hang out and treat it more like a music/beerfest.

I agree darklord is overrated but the Fest was much better organized last year than the years before.

Can someone tell me why the ****ing cops and fire trucks are making all kinds of noise on 41at 1:15 in the morning to escort these stupid Lake Central busses? It's bad enough they gotta waste tax dollars during the day. I'm awake already, but most people are trying to sleep.
