    ---sad---

    Was the dog sick.
How is repeat er holding up

He's had that dog since spring of 2002. We got our dogs same time, same shelter.
She had been having trouble lately with her thyroid.

He named her Shadow, because we would walk around the block at night. And she would hide behind his legs and bark at our Shadows when we went by a streetlight. Till she got more confident living with us. We think she had been abused.

She gained so much confidence, repeter woke up in New Jersey one time to her trying to climb the fence to attack a bear.

No ****, really? I'd never have thought of that!

    Maybe Gander also.

Thanks, they don't carry anything. Neither does Dicks or MC sports. At least nothing in stock.

Are there eagles in this area? I put the dogs out, and Leo started barking like crazy up toward our big evergreen tree. I assumed it was a squirrel, but when I looked up, I saw a HUGE brown bird fly away. I only saw it from the bottom, but it looked like it had a wingspan of at least four feet.

The peta people thought it was a great idea to release hawks into the local ecosystem some years ago and then make it a felony to hurt the dang things when they come along and fly away with small dogs and cats and attack homing pigeons and such...

I guess atleast they didn't release the wolves here like they did out west and protect the dang things...

Yes on the little calumet river if you go canoeing you can see the eagle nest!
We do the yearly canoeing trip that is co-sponsored by cabela's and you get to see them.
